Knives Out

Whenever I hear the word “will,” my mind jumps to movies like Knives Out, where a scheming family fights over inheritance. Fortunately, nothing even remotely like that happened when my parents died.

My sister and I bicker the way most siblings do, but when it comes to my parents’ estate, we’re on the same page. They wanted us to split it 50/50, so that’s what we’re doing. As for our other relatives, I wish I could convince them to take more of my parents’ stuff. Please help me get rid of it!

But many people with dead parents are not so fortunate. In the event that your relatives totally suck, I’ve added a section to the site with some resources. I’ve also added a section with some tips for approaching accountants or financial advisors. It can be intimidating if you’ve spent your entire adult life using TurboTax!

Hope these help. As always, more to come.
